“Sushi Tunes”

:Streaming the Art of Sushi to the World
Imagine a world-class omakase dinner as a one-night-only live concert.
Extraordinary, but rare and out of reach for many.
At AburiTORA, we asked:
What if we could take that same soulful energy and make it accessible, personal, and seamless like iTunes?
This idea became “SushiTunes.”
Just as music evolved from vinyl to digital platforms,
we are evolving sushi by fusing Japanese tradition with modern technology.
By streamlining operations through technology, we create efficiency.
That efficiency is reinvested directly into the guest experience,
enhancing quality, consistency, and value.

The result:
premium-quality sushi at a surprisingly accessible price.
From world-renowned Aburi to Edomae-style omakase quality,
guests curate their meal like a personal playlist.
A personalized, high-performance,
high-convenience dining experience that has never existed before.

"Tradition, Reimagined.”
ABURI TORA’s roots are deeply grounded
in Japanese tradition,
while its dining style looks firmly to the future.
Founder and owner Seigo Nakamura,
originally from Miyazaki, Japan,
took over his father’s restaurant,
Sushi TORA, at just 20 years old in 1996.
After opening four successful restaurants
over the next decade,
Seigo set out to bring Kaiten sushi to Canada
in a modern form
with uncompromising quality.
In homage to his roots,
he named it TORA.
